Trailwinders

In October of 2009, a team of Canadian runners, Marc Bremner, Lara Rintoul, and Jay Solman completed the toughest foot race on earth - The Sahara Race Egypt. With the amazing help and support of our friends and community we were able to raise over $8,100 for Variety BC's Children's Charity.

The Next Challenge

We will continue to run with hopes of raising more funds for charity. We also aim to inspire and motivate other runners, walkers or people just thinking about it to get out there and try it. One step at a time, soon you'll be accomplishing distances you never thought you could.

We are working on organizing some trail run clinics in the Tri-City area. We will post information on our website once we confirm the details

The Cause

Family is important to Team Traiwinders and our commitment to Variety BC comes from our belief that all children and families deserve to have opportunities for a bright and healthy future. Each year over 1,000 requests are made to the Variety Club from families throughout British Columbia.
